Tea Class: Dark Tea Intro & Anhua Dark Tea (English)

Join us for an exploration of Dark Tea (Hei Cha) — one of China’s most intriguing and historically rich tea categories. In this class, we’ll introduce what dark tea is, walk through its unique post-fermentation process, and uncover the cultural and historical roots of Anhua Dark Tea, the birthplace of many iconic dark tea styles.

We’ll also look at Anhua’s major traditions and classifications, then dive into a guided tasting of its representative teas — Tianjian, Fuzhuan, Qianliang and more.
