Join us for a focused introduction to Liu Bao Tea — a traditional dark tea from Guangxi, China, known for its aged aroma, smooth body, and grounding character. In this class, we’ll explore what defines Liubao tea, how it differs from other dark teas, and more.
We’ll also look at the historical roots of Liubao tea, its connection to regional trade and everyday tea drinking, and discuss hallmark flavor notes such as woody, betel nut–like, earthy, and gently sweet tones.
The class concludes with a guided tasting of several representative Liubao teas, helping you develop a clear and practical understanding of this unique tea.
