
Tea Class: Raw Pu’er — Lincang & Pu’er Region (English)
Hi tea lovers!
Join us for an immersive introduction to Raw Pu’er (Sheng Pu’er) from the Lincang and Pu’er regions of Yunnan, two of the most important and distinctive tea-producing areas in the world of pu’er.
While both produce exceptional raw pu’er, each offers its own character shaped by geography, climate, elevation, and tea tree varieties. We’ll discuss the natural processing of raw pu’er and examine how regional terroir influences flavor development, structure, and aging potential.
The class concludes with a guided tasting of several representative raw pu’er teas, for example, Bingdao, Xigui, Jingmai and more mountains in the region. offering a chance to experience firsthand the distinctive personalities of these celebrated regions.
