Kicking off the Chinese New Year with great tea, festive traditions, and amazing company—cheers to a year of happiness and endless tea moments!

What better way to celebrate the Chinese New Year than with great tea and even better company? At Teafairy, we kicked off the Year of the Snake with an amazing tea gathering, sipping on 1998 vintage 7572 Red Ribbon Ripe Pu-erh, Jin Jun Mei Black Tea, and Phoenix Dancong (Baxian)—each brew rich with history and flavor.

But it wasn’t just about the tea! We got hands-on with some classic Lunar New Year traditions—writing Fu characters and Spring Festival couplets with a calligraphy master, sharing festive stories, and even introducing our American friends to traditions like dumpling-making and firecrackers.

It was a day filled with warmth, laughter, and plenty of tea. Huge thanks to everyone who joined—here’s to a year of happiness, prosperity, and many more tea-filled moments together!
