A Magical Mid-Autumn Night with Tea & Wine

When tea meets wine……

What happens when fine tea meets exquisite wine? A night of pure magic! Teafairy, in collaboration with the Seattle Chinese Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery, hosted an unforgettable Mid-Autumn Gathering—full of warmth, laughter, and a whole lot of flavor.

As guests arrived, we kicked things off with a special hand-cleansing ritual—washing away the day’s fatigue with delicate floral water. It was a small but meaningful touch to set the tone for the evening. Check-in? Not your usual pen-and-paper deal. Instead, we brought out traditional Chinese calligraphy brushes and scrolls, letting everyone experience a bit of timeless elegance from the very start.

With the soothing sounds of the guzheng playing in the background, we sipped on three specially curated teas from Teafairy and fine wines from Chateau Ste. Michelle. Who knew tea and wine could pair so beautifully? Both share the same appreciation for terroir, craftsmanship, and time—bringing people together for a rich and flavorful experience.

The highlight of the night? Our little tea apprentices wowed everyone with a mesmerizing Song Dynasty tea-whisking performance, instantly transporting us back to ancient China. Between the tea, wine, and great company, the night was filled with joy, conversation, and new connections.
